“Midnight walk”
For this painting, i wanted to create some kind of night scene, using colors reminiscing of old school computer games. I used to play a lot of Prince of Persia on PC in the 90s. Even tho this painting is not inspired by this specific game, I simply love the contrasting, vibrant yet simple color palette of computer games coming from that era.
Of course, I added some neon elements. They somehow seem to stand out when the lighting gets a bit darker in the room, creating the desired effect, the light into the dark.
I love to take late walks when it’s dark at this time of year, there’s something so peaceful about the calmness of the night.
