Here’s the time to share with you this special commission i worked on! The mission was to recreate (with my twist) a painting from the Icelandic artist Stórval.

Stefán V. Jónsson, (Stórval) 1908-1994 was well known around town for his caracter and distinctive naïve painting style. He was a very productive artist and one of his favorite subject was the mountain Herðubreið.  His paintings have been gaining popularity over the years, as he left his mark in the Icelandic Art history.
