“Sunshine swim”

$650.00

This painting is one of my early paintings in 2020. I was still signing the front of paintings back then. The first painting i started my side signature as you know it today, is with the painting “Ride the waves” at the end of 2020.

Back then, i was still working on trying to level up canvas sizes. I had a harder time scaling things up, since i am used to paint on tiny canvas; nails.

This was also my first painting where i experimented with airbrushing for the belly and background, still up to this day i incorporate the use of airbrush a lot in my paintings.

I usually have an idea in mind before starting a painting and i choose canvas shapes and sizes that complement the painting composition in my opinion, just like for sunshine swim.

  • Original painting

  • Acrylic on canvas

  • Airbrushed iridescent paint
(lower belly part) special effect mirrors green to pink-purple shine, depending on the angle.
